WHY ROB HOPKINS WANTS TO JOIN US AT THE TRAVEL TO TOMORROW SUMMIT
“I accepted theinvitation to join the Travel tro Tomorrow summit because tourism can either accelerate our headlong dash into climate emergency, or it can be a driver for our finding a way out of it. This conference offers a vital opportunity to bring some imaginative thinking to the challenges of now, and to the role tourism might play. We have perhaps 10 years to get to, or close to, zero carbon. Were we to do that, the intervening years will have been an extraordinary time. If you lived a life when your annual carbon footprint was close to zero, what would tourism look like? What would it mean for our towns and cities? It would look very different to today, and yet it could still be amazing. Join us and help us dream what tourism in the age of the climate emergency might look like. Let's dream.”
